The Child Protection Practice Group specialises in all aspects of child protection law and practice and other areas of law relating to children. This includes family law, adoption applications, wills and estates, family provision claims, wills for minors, birth certificates, parentage testing, surrogacy law, applications for medical treatment for children and other areas. This forms part of the Public Law, Employment & Child Protection Division.
Our team of dedicated and highly skilled lawyers includes an accredited specialist in children's law and two solicitor advocates. We understand the nature of legal work relating to vulnerable children and are available to respond and assist as required including on short notice, after hours and in urgent circumstances.
