Welcome to the September issue of the Administrative Law Quarterly newsletter. 

The newsletter provides an overview of a selection of administrative law decisions/judgments in matters in which the Crown Solicitor acted and which are relevant to the NSW Government and its agencies.

In this issue, you'll find our latest insights into GIPA and privacy decisions, a selection of judicial review and quasi-administrative law decisions, a legislative development  (the replacement of the Health Records and Information Privacy Regulation 2017). It also includes a section on High Court cases, including a short overview of an important High Court judgment that introduces a new test for the retrospective operation of statutes.
